About Integrative Breathwork

In the spring of 1991, Jacquelyn Small discovered a method that is a powerful psychic opener. She named it "Integrative Breathwork". It's an adaptation of Holotropic Breathwork she co-taught with Stanislav Grof, M.D. during the '80's. Breathwork is an ancient spiritual practice in both the Eastern and Western traditions. It has the power to heal our personal past and to carry us into the expansive collective mind of humanity where all the great minds, universal spiritual teachings, our ancestral heritage, and our future unformed blueprints can be accessed. The fact that people have high moments of great revelation and "peak experiences" is proof that wisdom lives within us. Through the use of music, the breath, meditative autohypnosis, and symbolic artwork, the deeper strata of the unconscious mind opens and pours out its gifts. It is in this rich subjective life that all new creations first begin to stir, and to which we must continually return to be made afresh for every age.

The two-hour musical journey (a carefully designed set of evocative music) serves as a projection screen – a way to free associate so participants can recall whatever it is they need to make conscious and clear. Everyone has a different experience. For example, one person might go back in time and recall a serious automobile accident and release the pent-up terror. Another person might travel out-of-body to a sacred temple and recall a powerful spiritual initiation. This method transcends time and space, producing a mild, non-ordinary state of consciousness that brings the abstract spiritual world down into our concrete brains so we can experience these higher worlds directly. Practiced within a safe therapeutic setting and with proper guidance, the breathwork carries us into whatever dimension of consciousness we need to visit in order to heal or broaden. When we can experience that we are "bigger than we look like", a spontaneous healing just naturally occurs. This is the beginning of a stronger spiritual life, where a still-needed daily practice will bring us fully into our newfound greater Self. Most people know intuitively that they have a Higher Self.

To gain true knowledge of something is to enter into complete union with that which is to be known. Integrative Breathwork affords us this opportunity. Therefore, this process is seen as an evolutionary psychospiritual therapy that goes well with any other method of therapy people are utilizing.

Integrative Breathwork benefits those seeking, spiritual awakening, stress reduction, more meaning and purpose in life, a heart opening, or community. Integrative Breathwork benefits those who are experiencing critical life transitions, addictive or codependent patterns, depression, a spiritual awakening, anxiety or panic attacks, and a loss of meaning or purpose in life.

MYSTERY SCHOOL

September 25 - 28, 2015

In our new location in Austin, TX with Jacquelyn Small.

Pre-pay here with Square

Mystery Schools are the preservers of the Ageless Wisdom, transmitted afresh for every Age.  They teach us how to live in the symbolic realities that remind us of our bigger story. Symbols are the mediators between dimensions, carriers of meaning and energy. A Mystery is an inner vital spiritual event  -- like a death or rebirth experience – which can move us to a whole new ‘place’ in consciousness.  The field of religion is transforming as we begin a new evolutionary cycle in our world today, and many are feeling drawn to the Mysteries once more, searching for a spirituality that will feed their souls.

Workshop Details:

In this session, we will focus on the Mysteries of the Inner Christ, which were taught by the Gnostics, the original Christians, who studied with Jesus. The Gnostic Tradition is based on the experience of gnosis (deep, insightful wisdom) that underlies the symbolic messages in myth, in which transcendence, numinous inner visions, and psychological archetypes play a significant role.  The Gnostics were mystics who grounded true Christianity in the Ageless Mystery Traditions. It was labeled "heretical" by the early Church Fathers and most of its teachings destroyed.  The Gnostic Gospels, discovered in 1945 buried in a cave in the Nag Hammadi desert, revive these lost sacred teachings for our hungry world today. We will also focus on the symbolic teachings from the Tarot and its sacred archetypes pictured in the cards. Archetypes function like ‘enzymes’ in our psyches, which stimulate our inner life and make us fertile with wisdom and compassion, or, as the Gnostics would say, with gnosis.

Following are some of the specifics we will experience together:

•   An understanding and felt experience of the mythic Gnostic worldview they learned directly from Jesus and recorded in the Gnostic Gospels.

•   Learning to read Tarot through Number, and the twelve Astrological Houses that offer deep metaphysical insight into the four Trinities of body, mind, and spirit.

•  A meditative session to evocative music to gain messages from the archetypes and your soul.

WORKSHOP COST: $450, which includes Mystery School workbook and 24 CEU's.
